Pick up clothes and clutter
Clear floors, closets, and loose piles so treatment can reach more of the room effectively.
Prep Guide
The goal of prep is simple: make treatment more effective and avoid accidentally spreading bed bugs to new places.
Most Important Rule
Moving items without direction can spread bed bugs and eggs into clean areas. When in doubt, stop and call us before moving anything.
What To Do First
Clear floors, closets, and loose piles so treatment can reach more of the room effectively.
Piles create hiding spots and make treatment less direct where activity is often strongest.
Removing buildup helps treatment perform more cleanly and keeps the space better prepared.
Heat-Sensitive Items
Do not seal them in bags. Leave them in the home and let EcoForce review them with you.
Anything likely to melt should be separated clearly before treatment day.
Anything pressurized or combustible needs to be removed from the treatment area.
Do not have to be removed, just unplug them.
Prescription items and irreplaceable medical supplies should be separated in advance.
These must be removed from treatment areas before service begins.
If you are unsure, set it aside and ask us rather than guessing.
After Treatment
Anything worn or removed should be washed and dried on high heat before going back inside so you do not reintroduce activity.
